Bayside Restaurant & Bar

I was recommended by one of my design friends to work with Gordon on the brand identity for his new restaurant Bayside in Russell. Gordon wanted Bayside to have a casual chilled out 'cocktails by the beach' look and feel. I approached this with a typographic based design with graduating colour and a palm leave pattern overlay. The idea was that the logo could be used small and enlarged as wall signage and so visible to catch the eye of passers by outside. This identity was then carried through to the menus, business cards, loyalty cards and website.
